SATURDAY & SUNDAY APRIL 12 & 13, 2008 AT 9:30 A.M.
Selling from the longtime collection of June and Lewis McDonald
A spectacular collection of 8000-10,000 pieces of vintage glassware from the 1920's – 1950's including, Depression, Elegant, Deco, Kitchenware, etc.
This offering will cover virtually every Depression pattern in all colours and forms with some very rare and hard to find pieces. Some examples of rare items include: pink "S" pattern pitcher w/reeded handle & 6 matching tumblers, Rare Dogwood pink 2 tier cake salver. Kitchenware items including, butter dishes, reamers, mixers, mixing bowl sets, canisters, refrigerator dishes, batter bowls, syrup jugs. Several barware items including, shakers, ice buckets; children's dishes, lamps, selection of Elegant glass from Cambridge, Fostoria, Imperial, New Martinsville, etc; Due to the large amount of items, we were unable to do a detailed listing for this auction.
Upon completion of Saturday's sale, we will be immediately setting up for Sunday's sale. Watch online to view some of the items that will be sold.
AUCTIONEER'S REMARKS: This is the largest glass auction we have ever had the privilege of selling in 20 years. June and Lewis avidly collected for the past 35 years. This is a sale not to be missed by collectors and dealers. Hope to see you there.
